Quality Control / Overview

Assisted inspection, examined plainly before it is adopted

Granite Azalea works with manufacturing and quality teams across Japan to study where image-based checking can support an existing inspection station, and where it currently cannot.

01 / What this is

What we look at, and why it matters

Most quality lines already have a working inspection step, staffed by people who know the defects well. Our work is not to replace that judgement but to test, with real samples from your plant, whether an image-based check can catch the routine cases consistently — so the people doing inspection can spend their attention on the cases that actually need it.

02 / What we offer

Three ways to begin

Feasibility Study

Tests detection rates against sample images captured under your plant's own lighting, not laboratory conditions.

Defect Record Analysis

Reviews existing quality records to find where defects cluster and which checks could move earlier in the line.

Operator Handover Training

Prepares inspection staff to work alongside an assisted checking step, and to record disagreement with it.

03 / How it proceeds

The process, in order

STEP 01

An initial conversation about your current inspection setup and defect classes.

STEP 02

A site visit or data handover, depending on which service applies.

STEP 03

Analysis carried out over the stated scope period.

STEP 04

A written report delivered with findings and next-step options.

2+

years of inspection records is the typical minimum for a useful defect record analysis

3

weeks is the standard scope for both the feasibility study and the record analysis

12

participants can be accommodated per operator handover training session
